WELCOME TO THE YOUTH WEBSITE OF AMNESTY HUNGARY

The Freedom Clubs and Youth Clubs of Amnesty International Hungary serve as platforms for university and high school students to develop the knowledge and skills they need to become activists and human rights advocates. They lay the foundations for a sustainable and growing community. Clubs are now up-and-running in Budapest, Pécs and Debrecen with plans to expand to more cities in the near future.

The clubs are coordinated and supported by the Youth Coordinator (karacson.zita@amnesty.hu) and the Youth Activism Intern.

THE INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT

Since Amnesty was founded in 1961, it has grown to a global movement with offices in more than eighty countries and more than 7 million members, sympathisers, and activists in over 150 countries or territories. Our main office, the International Secretariat (IS), is in London.

Youth Activism Conference in Norway
